Yes you can. In the Church of England, you do not have to even be an Anglican to receive Communion. You're right about the Catholic Church - it's different, and it's strictly prohibited to take it unless you've had your First Communion. I'm Catholic, but once when we were in the country on Sunday we missed the Catholic mass, so we went to the Anglican one. They were all very nice and we went and had communion and everything.The difference lies in what the Eucharist is viewed as. Catholics believe that it is sacred, and actually a part of Jesus himself, while Anglicans believe it is more a symbolic gesture. It's actually arguably one of the few things that stops the Catholic and Anglican Churches from joining together.Hope this helps ;-)Frederick ------
