According to the Bible, women can be teachers, aides, and even mentors to anyone, but it is anti biblical for a woman to be an evangelist, preacher or pastor of any church.

Yes and have been allowed for nearly a decade now.

I like the way you guys are unashamedly sexist, it's all just like the 1950's for you isn't it, do you support slavery as well?

As in all the other churches. Women should be silent during the church meetings. It is not proper for them to speak. They should be submissive, just as the law says. If they have any questions to ask, let them ask their husbands at home, for it is improper for women to speak in church meetings. Do you think that the knowledge of God's word begins and ends with you Corinthians? Well, you are mistaken! If you claim to be a prophet or think you are very spiritual, you should recognize that what I am saying is a command from the Lord himself.

No, not really.

However thee are some C of E laywomen who masquerade as 'priests' apparently with the consent of the bishops.

It is best to stay away from them in order to assure the validity of your sacraments.

I believe so. They are much more open to the full participation of women in their church than many other religions.

With the understanding that the Anglican Communion is more than just the Church of England, and that there are other Anglican Traditions outside of the Communion, the answer is yes and no.

Each province within the Anglican Tradition is autonomous and has their own views on women in the priesthood. There are still many Anglican provinces in the world that do not permit female ordination. Provinces in much of the Far East, Central Africa, and the Middle East, for example, will probably refuse to accept women for ordination. Additionally, bishops in at least three dioceses in the U.S. also refuse to ordain women and many more provinces refuse to consecrate women as bishops.

The Church of England, specifically, has ordained women since 1987, with ordination as priests beginning in 1994. As of 2008, 28 of the 38 provinces within the Communion ordain women as priests and 17 ordain women as Bishops.

Women can pretend to be priest in the now heretical Church of England and ECUSA. Anglo-Catholics believe that these ordinations are null and void. There are groups such as the Traditional Anglican Communion that maintain the Catholic traditions of Anglicanism and do not allow for Women's ordination.
