Default Do Orthodox Christians and those of the Anglican Communion accept the Deuterocanonica

I'm talking about the OT apocrypha. I don't think there exist any contemporary Christian sect that accepts the NT apocrypha as scripture (except for maybe newly emerging Gnostic Christian sects).

Orthodox include 3 and 4 Maccabees as well. Sorry for the partial answer, but that's what I can contribute.

some accept the OT apocrypha...in fact until about 1900
if you owned a bible it was included...

I've read the OT ones....they seem to be okay....

however the NT apocrypha are another matter...most
are dubious in nature...I've read a couple and they were
horrendous..

i would accept anything written after 100 AD as solid scripture,
which eliminates 99% of the NT apocrypha...

For the Orthodox the Apocrypha are just that "hidden" like the Greek word states. In Orthodox Christianity we base our faith in two pillars: Scripture and Tradition. There are many things in our Tradition that are from the Apocrypha.
