I've met a few and they were cool. I've heard from a few on line and they were pretty cool too. Like anyone, if you tell them what they ought to be believing, they will get into your face.
I don't personally know of any person who is Asatru, but I would still be friends with them if they wanted to.
The religion itself seems like a fairly good religion. I myself might converse and work with the Norse gods if they ever call to me. Though right now it's the Greek gods and goddesses who are calling to me.
Well My High Priestess is Asatru so I have No problem with it
Love and Blessings
To the poster below me , I have sent you an email telling you that I will put you in contact with Her if you want , take it up with her
As a matter of fact, I know our our ancestors didn't so I can pretty much bet we don't and anyone claiming to be is a) full of it b) certainly not Astra/heathen.
If it wasn't for Asatru I would be a much different man today. I would most likely be on my way back to prison and living the horrid life I led for so many years. Now that I have found the Gos and Goddesses I can finally walk the honorable path of my ancestors.
answer: absolutely awesome religion. Then again, I'm biases as well. Any path that requires honor, loyalty, a quest for knowledge and caring for family is a positive one.

I'm with Thurd*** - there are no Asatru "High priestesses" - there are Thia's - which has nothing to do with Wicca or eclectic paganism. Asatru/Heathenism, Vor Tru, Vanatru, Theodism, Teutonic paganism is incompatible with Wicca and most other pagan traditions.
i think it's an amazing religion. my ancestry is Celtic-norse, but I've been called by the Celtic side. it would be my honor to be called by the Norse gods, but i doubt they will. they like oaths. I'm iffy with oaths.
