Default Honoring Your Ancestors in Asatru?

For all of those who believe in Asatru, as i do, how do you honor your ancestors. Believing in the ways of your ancestors is honoring in itself, but do any of y'all ever pay a tribute or a gift of mead, beer, milk etc.? Or do y'all maybe pray to them or talk to them through meditation, and if so when do you do this and how many times a week do you do this? I honored the Desi of my family on this past Winters Nights as well as Frejya by giving them both a gift of milk.

Thank You
That would be great if there was a way to find out the names of our long past ancestors and name a child after them. That would be a great way to honor our ancestors.

Telling and hearing stories about them and the standard heathen methods of offerings.
I don't meditate or pray.

I work Seidhr and sometimes see and speak to them. I also make offerings at Disablot and at other times, usually in the latter part of the year. I toast them at Sumbel. I honor the past generations of my family by being the best I can be and by helping the generations of my family coming after me in any way I can.

I regularly give offerings to my ancestors: consisting of portions of my meals, special items that I know they loved in life, as well as items such as flowers on the altar. I also burn candles or incense in offering to them.

I also regularly change out the items on my ancestral altar, and rotate family heirlooms and pictures. I of course pray and speak with them, ND when I am troubled by difficult decisions I meditate on those items in their presence, asking for their wisdom and guidance.

I've actually written on this topic previously, and you may find the following source illuminating:
