Default Is it still Asatru if???

is it still considered Asatru if I'm an Anglo-Saxon, not technically Norse?

I am part German though but i still worship the Anglo-Saxon Gods.

you know like i worship Wodin rather then Odin

I worship Thunor not Thor

(Everyone even Asatruars agree they are the same god, just different names)

the only thing is, Anglo-Saxons have a few deities that regular Asatruars dint worship, and we only Blot in November.

so am i just an Anglo-Saxon Heathen or can i be called an Asatruar???
Well yeah it is about worship, not heritage.

But the Anglo-Saxon religion is nameless, so all i can say is that I'm an Anglo-Saxon.

I worship the Gods of England which came to England from Norway, iceland, and denmark.
I'm going to ask this again and explain what i mean a little better OK

you'd have to speak with lasagnaNaut from my research and talking to her you are fine, she has stated there is some group called folk astaur who believe its an ethnic only thing that can worship but the main contingent according to lokisanna is ok with it

Talk to this person:

and you can explain all you want kid-o here in your question but asking this expert is such a better route, don't you agree?

The ancestry of that region is an exercise in insanity. The Germanic Tribes were originally Celtic (they have Cetic ancestors). The Anglo-Saxons have Norse ancestors and came down from the north. They all share common Mezolithic ancestors and if you aren't confused yet, we can trace the language families which is enough to make your average grad student cry. I say, if you want to be Asatru, then you are.
