How to practice Asatru? (Viking's religion)?

In the Astra (Viking's religion), are there some rituals like prayers, baptism or confirmation, like in the christian or Jewish religion?

How should you go for practicing Astra, if you really want to convert???

Until he gets here I'd say start go ogling. I'm Wicca and when I start researching it that's pretty much where I started. Actually I think it was Dogpile, either way, you can learn alto just by striking out on you own. Along the way you find other to help you.

answer: there are rituals, including life cycle ones. Most Heathens I know don't really "pray" - they honor the deities, the Folk and the ancestors. Heathens don't really ask for anything from the deities.
