My own understanding- I am NOT a practitioner- is that Asatru worship the Norse pantheon.

Well for starters most Wiccans know how to spell Wicca.

Edit: I'm sorry, I couldn't help myself. But at least I wasn't preaching.

Asatru is more Norse based whereas Wicca involves the Celtic religion more-it seems more focused on nature and Asatru seems to focus more on the Norse religion.

Asatru has a specific ethnic focus (Norse) however most of the European traditions (Celtic, Anglo-Saxon, Germanic, etc) have many similarities, as they all sprung from common ground so to speak.

Wicca is a bit different, it is a modern tradition that borrows from many ethnic traditions.

quite a bit of difference, actually. They're about the same as Egyptian paganism is to Celtic paganism. They are both pagan religions but they believe differently, have different gods and goddesses, different ways of worship and different holy days.

This is an article about the differences and similarities of Wicca and Heathenry/Asatru.

I have not had a chance to read it myself, but I've only heard good things about it, and from people I trust.
