no. Christians put Norse religions and all other similar religions into the category of 'myth'.
so they made them look stupid and made up.
colonization and silly people who decided that the Christians were of superior faith and knowledge and abandoned their beliefs.
Christians are messed up that way. Its been my experience that they will attack anything that is not according to their beliefs. They are unable respect an others freedom of spiritual choice.
Generally speaking, many (if not most) Christians will attempt to link any other religion with being "fooled" by their Satan.
Funny considering how much they where forced to absorb from European religions.
Christians believe that the only way to God is through Christ. From a Christian perspective, all contrary beliefs are false. The "evil" in false religions lies in their capacity to distract from the truth of the gospel of Christ.
Everyone thinks that what they believe is correct (otherwise they wouldn't believe it). The logical default of this position is that every contrary belief is incorrect. This applies to every belief system.
* Those who think all, or many paths lead to God think Christians are incorrect for saying only one path leads to God.
* Agnostics think Christians are incorrect for claiming that the truth about God can be known.
* Atheists think all theists are incorrect.
There is no fair reason to single Christianity out for this implied accusation of intolerance.
I think most Christians, at least the ones I know, do not think of us as evil, just misguided. Generally when I tell them that we love our Gods as much as they do their God I get a positive response. Of course sometimes I just get the old "standby", your going to hell. I usually tell them that yes I will probably meet her someday.
Depends on the Christian! Traditionally Christianity has always been very negative toward other faiths but there have always been exceptions and in recent centuries mellow, liberal, tolerant Christians have become more numerous and more influential.
