What's the difference between Asatru and Odinism?

Asatru focuses on all Norse gods but Odinism focuses on Odin.

In the US however, both terms have (for no reason at all) become connected with racism and white supremacy!! Which is nuts because it's believed there was a historical man called Odin (a great magician who became a God) came north from the area of Turkey...so it's quite possible he wasn't white anyway!!

For many the words are interchangeable. On the other hand, for some Odinism has become synonymous with a more racially oriented religion having been taken up by racist idiots. That of course doesn't mean the religion itself is racist or racially oriented, only that idiots are incapable of originality.
