Can someone rewarded with a place in Odins Hall travel the other halls to meet ancestors that did not have glorious deaths?

Why couldn't you? And as far as your "less rewarded ancestors" go, let's not forget that most of our ancestors are/were of a faith other than what we are now. In so far as "glorious deaths" there is still much debate as to what needs to happen to go to either Valh?ll or Sessr?mnir. If you go by the lore, you need to die in battle, Freya getting the first half, Odin getting the second half.

If you continue to go by the lore, if you were a warrior but didn't die in battle, then what? Did you pierce yourself with a spear/knife on your deathbed? hang yourself? I personally believe I can go anyplace and see whomever, do I want to see my ancestors? my Daisie? of course, their beliefs do not make them any less my kin. I could wind up going to Bilskirnir...if I had a choice... or any other myriad of places.

It says in the Prose Edda that the survivors of Ragnarok will reside in Giml? or possibly Ving?lf. The good thing about heathens is that most of us do not treat our lore as "gospel" instead, we look through a modern filter when reading and discussing it, there are those that think Ragnarok hasn't happened yet, that it is, and that it already has.......

It all depends on your outlook, heathery is more than screaming Hail Thor or being an Edda thump er, it is a worldview, get a bunch of heathens in a room and I guarantee you will have multiple opinions on the same question.

Good luck in your search for your own answer. if you have any questions, email me.

This question has come up a few times...
In my PERSONAL opinion (because nothing in the lore touches on the subject, yea or nay), I don't see why you wouldn't be able to.
In Valhalla, they fight to the death during the day, are resurrected at night, and have a feast.
What happens between the end of the feast and the next morning when they fight to the death again?

Most contemporary heathens that I know believe that those departed who reside among the gods do get to mix and mingle pretty freely, especially when they are "off duty."

Valhalla is not meant to be a prison, it is a place of feasting and fighting where the warriors maintain their strength and fighting skills sharp. Besides, what warrior wouldn't want to pay a visit the lovely Vanic ladies from time to time?

Not every Asatruar wants to go to Valhalla.

Personally, I'm aiming for Bilskirnir, but I guess that's up to Thor.
