It's another faith I do not follow, however, most Asatruar are as honorable as their faith dictates, and I'm cool with anyone who understands honor.
Unlike some other faiths I do not follow, however, Asatru does not have an agenda of gaining converts by any means necessary, so it's a faith I don't follow, but also don't worry about coming after me or my kids.
It seems to be a path that places a lot of emphasis on honor and the importance of family, both goals that I can really get behind.
While I've met a few who are very aggressive and quite nasty to those of other religions, I've also met some who are upright, assertive, and thoughtful. Like any other religion, it has a wide range of different sorts of people who follow it.
Because the majority of my ancestors are of Nordic decent, I use some aspects of Asatru in my rituals and foundation beliefs. I am a solitary so am able to do this with out upsetting someone Else's apple cart. I feel a closeness with it while I think of myself as a Wiccan.
I'd say we leave them alone, are sorta honorable, and will put our firepower on their behalf when the fun dies come after them, because we're staunchly *not* pacifistic (some vicunas are), so I doubt they have a beef with us :P.
Well, I'm no longer Wiccan, I'm a Buddhist but as long as Asatru isn't being used for hate, like the new skinheads and Noe-nazis are claiming it for... it's an amazing way of life.
