Man, you even got the accents on the vowels -- impressive.

Little error, though. Asatru is a religion, not a text. Maybe you mean the Havamal?

Fine with me, as long as it doesn't bring big helmets with horns on them back in style for women.

I would look very silly in one.

what if Batman comic books are the sacred word of God?
about the same chance for both, I'd say.

Asatru is not a text or what have you. It is a word from Scandinavia meaning "true to the Aesir". The Aesir are the main tribe of Gods in the Norse pantheon that include Odin, Thor, Frigga, Baldr, Idunna, Loki, Tyr, Heimdall, and a couple of others.

Asatru is also the name of a religion that has cropped up in the past 30 odd years which seeks to reconstruct the worship of said Gods and the religions of the Prue-Christian Germanic, Scandinavian, and English peoples.

Do you mean perhaps some other Icelandic text, such as the Eddas (which the Havamal is a part of) or one of the Sagas?
