Default Asatru Forums?

What are so good Asatru Forums? I don't want mailing lists or anything of that sort, but what I want are forums like Asatru Lore.

You might check Witchvox, or search Yahoo or MSN groups.

Asatru Lore is one of a kind . . . I'm not very active there anymore, but I've been there *almost* since the beginning (rank: "Forum God," Lil.) and in all that time, although I've looked, haven't found that same quality of discussion anywhere.

However, there are some smaller, less active ones out there. I admin one for Texas heathens you can email me about.

I consider Yahoo Groups a good hybrid of forum & list. You don't have to receive e-mail if you don't want it. Some of the more popular groups include:

A Heathen Thing
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/heathenthing/

Our Meadhall
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Our_Meadhall/

Northeast Asatru (if you happen to live in the region)

I have recently found a "list" (another Yahoo group) called Galdrabok, and I'm also a new member of 9Th night. I am not a fan of "lists" but you can have it sent to your email or you can view the forum-like setup. So far I've taken part in and read some excellent discussions, and everyone on the list is very knowledgeable. For the size and nature of the Asatru and Odinist or related communities I doubt we'll find the extensive forums and sites dedicated to other religions, sadly.

I highly recommend the Irminsul Aettir website, which has a valuable amount of information and links and references to Asatru and Norse websites and articles in just about every topic you can imagine, a spectacular starting point. Links to the aforementioned lists can be found on the following web page:
