Evolution is happening. For those of you who choose to disagree, I pose one question to you:

If God created Adam and Eve, and evolution is a farce, where did Black people come from? What about Asians? Latinos? Blondes, brunettes, redheads? Why don't we all have the exact same genetic makeup of Adam and Eve?

well i am torn between spirituality and atheism...nothing has and will never prove the existence of god...but like all things he is a nice assurance..a plea sent thought so maybe one should Blvd in him. And as far as evolution is concerned, yes...it is happening.Evolution will never stop

I am atheist and know evolution is happening. More and more children are being born with twelve fingers every year. We are more hands on than every before and it's now showing up in our children.

Evolution is a fact, but it hasn't really progressed very far yet.

Humans are NOT an intelligent species. Most humans are imbeciles.

Even dolphins can use tools and gorillas can learn sign language. Humans are only slightly more advanced.

The first answerer has a poor understanding of evolution:
" if evolution was actually happening we wouldn't have people like Bush."

Evolution doesn't try to produce what in our opinion is "best", evolution gravitates tor wards Weaver's breeding the most. If relatively few smart create a world where the stupid can survive and breed well, their stupidity will become homogeneous throughout the population. Like what's happening in America right now.

I'm not an atheist. But I do believe evolution is really happening. How we look, dress, think, etc.. and manners have definitely evolved.

Not sure about evolution. If it is still happening or happened at all, it needs a big push. I think more sudden impact that evolution; I guess that makes me an atheist?

I'm not an atheist, but I believe Evolution is continuing. Often nowadays it is selective breeding of pets to get different co loured gerbils, different breeds of dogs etc., also immigration and multiculturalism are producing more and more mixed race people of different varieties.

If Evolution is not happening, why is everyone so worried about Bird Flu mutating (because that has to happen to cause an epidemic)?

Science doesn't claim to have 100% of the answers and it refuses to make them up as they go. It was argued that the world was round centuries before they found definitive proof. People were once put to death for hearsay for trying to teach that the earth revolved around the sun and not the other way around.
People have always had a bad habit of dismissing an idea because its not 100% yet.

according to scientists that preach the THEORY of evolution. we evolved from other animals that evolved from single celled organisms that evolved from a puddle of goo that contained the building blocks of life. problem is that the puddle of goo either came from dissolving rocks or a form of acid rain caused by the volcanoes of the time period.
so basically scientists believe we evolved from rocks or magma.

i think the idea That we were Created by God much more logical. considering the order though out the universe.

I am an atheist but I don't necessarily believe i evolution. I can't prove a god and I can't prove evolution, therefore I am not going to worry about either of the two. That's why it bothers me that people always correlate atheism with evolution. Atheism is a way I live my life, without a god. I don't worry about that and I don't worry about where we came from.

That being said, I think evolution is a completely plausible explanation and it's better than just saying a god created it all. With all the billions and billions of years that existence has, well, existed, anything could have happened with cells mutating and reproducing and all the randomness that happens with the order of things. That's all I'm going to say about it since I don't actually know anything about the science of it.

Thanks for asking.

I am an atheist.

Evolution is actually happening. For only one example, I will point to anti-biotic resistant strains of bacteria. They have adapted and evolved, and we can watch it happen.
