Why do theists believe in god, Satan, angels, demons, heaven, hell etc. when those haven't been pr oven?
Scientists have collected enough evidence to say that there is a strong possible chance it might have been possible unlike your fairy tale peeps who have NO evidence whatsoever to support their existence!
Huh? Proof of evolution is in the fossils under your feet. That means it's EVERYWHERE. And every day science adds another piece to the evolutionary jigsaw. Aetheists don't 'believe' in evolution - it's a fact.
Why would anyone believe in Evolution.
One doesn't BELIEVE in scientific matters.
EVOLUTION is a theoretical model that is used to explain the proliferation of life on earth. It is a robust theory because there is so much supporting data.
If you want to BELIEVE in something, remain ignorant and 'christian'.
Please put down that Creation Museum brochure and open up a biology textbook. Evolution is scientific fact and only a small minority of religious "literalism's" ignorantly insist otherwise. .
I'm not a biologist, so on biological matters I defer to the experts. When the experts offer persuasive arguments, copious evidence, and near-unanimous agreement -- say, in the case of evolutionary theory, gravitational theory, Copernican theory, and the germ theory of disease -- I'll go with the experts every time.
Studies in animal evolution have been made and positive results have appeared, most of them in species with a short time of life (so that many generations passed in the last 50 or 60 years).
And even if it weren't pr oven. God's existence and miracles have not been pr oven so far. With REAL and SCIENTIFIC argument. Why do Christian or Muslims or Jews still believe in God? Or other things their holly books say that haven't been proved yet?
It is superficial to ask for REAL and SCIENTIFIC proves from Atheists when other religion views don't have them either.
Evolution has been 'pr oven' then disproved, then 'proved' again so many times that it's easy to get confused. Especially when the media hypes up each 'proof' so much and neglects to discuss the mistakes the 'pro overs' always seem to later acknowledge they made.
As it stands, evolution has a lot of proof. As a theory, it is pr oven that there can be variations within a species leading to slight changes to adapt to an area.
However, the theory of evolution that has been pr oven varies significantly from the speculations so many people are fascinated by. It has been shown that a dog can adapt to be a dog, that a virus adapts to be a virus and that a monkey adapts to be a monkey. No virus has been shown adapting into a fish, fish into a lizard or monkey into a man.
There are simple reasons for this. Despite claims that dogs and cats are really rather similar, any child can tell which is which. This is due to limitations on the parts of genetic coding which can mutate without causing significant damage to the animal involved. This is why all extreme mutations are negative, and why we are not becoming the X-men...
