Do atheists deny God?s existence only hoping to escape accountability for their unrep
God's invisible qualities are clearly seen from what has been made, so that we are without excuse.
Why not simply do what God requires? Confess your sins to God, truly sorry for offending His love for you, and ask His forgiveness. Then turn from your sins and turn *to* God, proving your repentance is real, trusting in faith Jesus took the punishment your sins deserved. He delights in forgiving all who ask, as often as they ask, even empowering you with His Holy Spirit to do what He commands. Otherwise, if you lose eternal life, it will have been by your own choosing. He made the way for your sins to be forgiven!
Nope. We deny a gods existence because we don't believe in any god's existence. See how much easier it all is to understand when try to reason as if you had in IQ over 80?
We don't know what they're thinking inside their faithless little heads. They're a bit... blinded. I'll add here, the reason they don't believe in God is there is no proof he exists...
Ah, but there is...
And there is no proof he doesn't.
Oh also, to that guy who said 'IQ over 80' I have an IQ of 140 so shut up.
If someone was "hoping to escape accountability for their unrepeated sins," then they would have to believe in the god who would hold them accountable. As an atheist, by definition, this scenario is impossible.
Atheist are people who dint believe in God . they feel that God doesn't exist since science doesn't explain it. but they dint realize that science is only meant to explain the presence of certain phenomenons . it doesn't explain why something is absent.
They're in love with their sin more than God. And would rather follow the devil's sin-free, godless delusions than follow the truth of Jesus Christ. May God soften their hearts to His grace.
No, we "deny" his "existence" because we haven't seen any evidence.
It's pretty simple, Lil... we don't have some dark hidden agenda, and we don't feel guilty about not buying into religion. We simply just don't accept things that aren't real.
humans do not like the feeling of being powerless or having to "submit". they do not like the feeling of something or someone that is greater than they are. they do not like the idea that a god "knows" everything about them and will judge them and determine their life for them. god is an offense to a lot of people. a lot of minds are poisoned against god.. by all of the common opinion / beliefs that are spread like disease. for plenty of people, when they begin to think / believe that god is real, they experience terror. they don't want the terror and so they begin to reject god and a lot of other thoughts, beliefs and feelings. it's all very, very sad.
First off, the concept of a Judeo-Christian deity called "God" is 100% man-made and religion is 100% man-made. The leaders of religious cults such as the Unification Church, Christianity, the Hare Krishna Movement, Scientology, etc. are some of the smartest people on earth because they are capable of controlling the actions of their followers. This, of course, includes manipulating their followers into financial donations and that is the bottom line. All organized religions are businesses. Anybody who believes differently is a sucker. Cha Chin, char Chin.
It is true that, as an Atheist, I have evolved past the need to grovel to a mythical megalomania cal dictator to attempt to dissuade my fear of the unknown. I can (thankfully) no longer view myself in such a pathetic and despicable way that I require belief in the supernatural to supplant my genuine Self.
This is an absurd suggestion. If a person believes that "accountability for their unrepeated sins" is a meaningful issue from which they desire to seek escape, then they believe that God exists -- and they understand that his existence is not contingent on their claimed belief or lack thereof. The notion that one would pretend not to believe in a God in order to escape the consequences of their actions does not logically follow. You're just trying to rationalize how someone can genuinely not believe something that either (a) seems so obvious to you, or (b) your doctrine teaches you that it is impossible not to believe.
We genuinely don't think there is any such thing as God. The universe behaves just as we would expect an atheistic universe to behave. Even if you fail to understand this and are convinced there was some sort of creator, what evidence do you have to support the conclusion that *your* God was that creator? Your conviction on this point is founded in dogma, not evidence. The fact that you choose to accuse people who reject dogma in favor of evidence of seeking to escape personal responsibility for their actions is shameful and despicable.
You may have sinned but I haven't, in fact, I'm a perfect little angel of good behavior.
I think it's "you" that needs some serious ch urchin', my friend, and it's "you" that needs to confess some sins, because your own conscience seems to be bothering you big time about something.
I do not deny that your god exists, I just do not believe it does.
If this god you believe in is so powerful and "ALL" everything, then why doe she require anything from us? Seems like a big con game to me.
They seem to think that they can make it be what they want it to be by believing whatever they want. But forget that God who created them will decide what happens to them when they die. Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life. He that believer in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live." Jn. 11:25
