Young Christians, or those with children, what do you tell them about the Atheists?

I found this advice on line:

If you find an Atheist in your neighborhood,
TELL A PARENT OR PASTOR RIGHT AWAY!

You may be moved to try and witness to
these poor lost souls yourself, however
AVOID TALKING TO THEM!

Atheists are often very bitter and will lash out at children or they may even try to trick you into neglecting God's Word.

Very advanced witnessing techniques are needed for them.
Let the adults handle them.

ahahahahaha. They're not rabid dogs. I'll make sure to give my son this advice, except I'll replace Atheist with Brain Dead Fundementalist
