Default I'm thinking about dropping my atheism. What's a good religion to convert to?

Anything but Lutheranism. I was raised in that and I want to try something new.

Thanks!!
Slim Shady: Lol, as long as it doesn't make my butt look fat, I'm open to it.

I'm Methodist, and I like it. But just try out different ones, until you find one that suits you.

Well obviously you don't care that much about religion if you want to pick and choose between them. You should do some proper research before you decide what you want to believe in. I'd suggest Buddhism.

Baptist is a very funny religion to watch. If you go to the right places, the preachers will run around the church screaming at you.

I wouldn't just convert unless you actually believe in it.
I'd try agnostic...it sounds like it's what you are

You may want to sample out Churches and see where you fit in and are comfortable and understand. The most important thing is spiritual growth.

Why would you drop atheism?

If you need to, give Pastafarianism a try.

You can always join my 2ND religion: IwannaMarryTimTebowism. But you wouldn't want to marry him, in this church, I'm the one who wants to marry Tim and everyone else helps me achieve that goal. Members of that religion get an invitation to the wedding and the eternal warm and sweet feeling inside their heart every time they remember they helped a sister and a beloved quarterback out to find each other and live their epic love story?

Try to find something that makes sense......
You won't find it in any religion.
The only world-view that does, is Atheism.

You might just ask yourself what would be a good Heaven to go to. Then define what type of personality would fit in with that Heaven. Then adopt that personality and cross your fingers for luck.

If you want to feel the presence of Jesus and God within your heart, I highly recommend attend a Christian Fellowship Church such as Gateway. After my first visit I was awed and felt something. That was five months ago. I continued going up to the present and getting ready to be baptized, this takes some study. But getting back to what I was stating, the second visit had me convinced and now I know I have the Kingdom of God in my heart.

It is a truly amazing church. Unlike any other that I have gone to.

Atheist like "reason" so I strongly suggest you not go to any local church or convert to any faith but get a Bible and keep this to yourself. And when you are alone in the evening make it a habit to read two to three chapters in the New Testament and start in the Book of John. Let the Holy Spirit teach and lead you into spiritual truths and then continue all the way through the New Testament Scriptures. Only then would I recommend going to a local church. If the faith is not leading YOU to the eternal Kingdom of Christ which is the ONLY PLACE that is in the eternal future and home to the only King we will ever face in judgment then that faith is only leading you to a local church and it is so much more than that in Scripture.

What about starting some religion with an easy concept . Then try to go deep and express your feeling about it . I offer you this gift. Try to read the translations then stay alone and think about your feelings.

Just start from number one on your left side and read each one.
This book is the word of God.
