Atheism and Christians, why don't black people like churches?

Wass up, now I have usually been a atheist most of my life, a few times religion convinced me that God might exist but my siestas always point me back away from God.

Now I just want to clear up some stuff about why us Black folk don't like some of the white churches, ya feel me? Now we have separated churches because white churches usually is too formal and just not enough soul and spirit! Now you walk into a black church and they be praying God at the top of their voices, and demanding folk give to the lord. Now I personally think I am a atheist because I dislike white churches too much. I recently bee go in to them black churches and feel more at home with broth as and siestas.

Now why do you think black people usually got them own black churches and staying away from them white Christians?

In white churches, they hand out bread and wine to symbolize the body and blood of Christ.
In black churches, it's KFC and Kool-aid.

Don't know. I have been to a lot of churches with both black and white brothers.

There are white churches that are nothing more than a social club, but a few white churches do exist where you can make a joyful noise unto the Lord and you would be welcome in my church and I think you would like it. If you prefer to go to church with all black people, that's OK too.

Black churches are sometimes more energetic yes, That's just the difference between the people i guess.

If you like to jump around and sing loud then go to that kind of Church.

Blacks were not allowed in white churches. Segregation applied to religion too.

the Churches are all divided and the bible says we are to be one body.
Satan has rule over the churches now especially if they think they are the only church.
I love all people and if you feel hate in your heart.. the bible says then you already commit ed murder.
Most black people who go to their churches (as well as whites) who are the chosen ones of God know they are and if your there for to feel comfortable then your there for the wrong reasons.
but keep going anyway as you might see the light and be one of the chosen.

The Lord always provides a place where true believers can gather together for praise and worship.
I hear you about the spirit, though. Be careful, however. Emotion can easily be confused with the work of the Spirit. Black churches are not the only ones where the Spirit leads.....

I am white, but I must say on average I get a better sermon and can get in the Spirit more easily in the predominately black churches. We all need to loosen up a bit so the Spirit can gain control!!
