Mars has TWO moons. Yes the tide goes in and out and YES that is caused by the moon. Wow cleaver you i didn't know Christians had it in them to learn new facts.
It's atheists. Top marks for your attempt at the most illogical attempted proof of religion ever. Maybe it's 1-0 to the Hindus or Jews rather than the Christians. If it helps your argument in some bizarre way Venus doesn't have any moons.
I think that you might be confusing your texts here. Science is about using simple instruments such as a clock and a yardstick to measure things like the height of tides, or to use telescopes to discover new facts about the universe that we live in. All these facts are recorded in science books and texts, many of those facts dating back to antiquity.
If you carefully read the New Testament you will find that it is not concerned about physical facts, as was said:
"Render Unto Caesar that which is Caesar's and render unto God that which is God's". (Matt 22:21) Meaning that you should let worldly facts be managed by those whose job it is to manage them, and for guidance on matters of morality and conduct look to guidance from religion.
When you understand that, it is obvious that planets can have as many moons as they may, and tides may come and go as they might, and it has no relevance one way or another to the teachings of the Gospels.
...I wish I had enough room to insult you in every way I could...Mars DOES have a moon. TWO, actually, and religion has nothing to do about it, retard, it's physical fact. You're ignorant, and arrogant, kill yourself.
First off: ASTRONOMY DOES NOT EQUAL "ATHEIST" (or "Atheisms", whatever the **** that is). It never has, and it never will. While some people here are, you also find Catholics, Lutherans, Baptists, Hindus, Jews, Buddhists, and any other religion that you can think of.
Second, Mars has two moons: Phobos and Deimos. This fact has actually been known since they were discovered only 134 years ago.
You really should open up a science book once in a while, if you want to argue about science. Otherwise, you give the rest of us a bad name.
i am neither an atheist or christian but tides are due to gravity and not due to any supernatural force. second mars has two asteroid moons - Phobos and Deimos
