Default What do you love about your Atheism?

Well, the religious factor likes to talk about how awesome their "god" is.
What's awesome about there not really being one?
Personally, I like not being watched all the time.....Lil

"What's awesome about there not really being [a 'god']?"

The feeling of *not* having a dog collar around my neck.

Just because you don't 'believe' doesn't mean some thing's not 'there'

We really don't know darling; it's not like I'm so "Proud to be an Atheist." The best thing about Atheism is you're not required to join some kind of pride or faith group.

I don't wear my atheism on my sleeve, but, I like the fact that i don't need religion to be a moral person.

I'm sorry I'm not an atheist but, if I were one , I would see no reason to get out of bed each morning. Its like you just live in the moment. There is no salvation for you.. when things get tough for you guys, you don't have a loving caring God to cast all your worries on, you have no supernatural blessings or favor upon you... ID how you do it.. But I'm Glad I have God ^-^

Me, I just like learning new stuff.

Religion tends to frown on that sort of behavior.

I can think for myself, not only that it has helped my with problem solving skills. Because much like other atheists we had to arrive at this conclusion one way or another. And I did a lot of research and heard arguments for and against belief.

And the facts and reason led me to the only logical solution, there is no god.

I love the fact that I don't have to prove my position, for there is no evidence either way. I do not have to prove that He does NOT exist, but believers DO have that burden, and so far they have come up with NOTHING, and they have had THOUSANDS of years to do so! Yet they call ATHEISTS delusional! It makes one wonder.

Hmm, a "TD" for telling the truth, AGAIN! I get the impression that believers have no interest when it comes to wanting to know the truth, for I can tell that they do not REALLY want to know!
