Why did this Agnostic Atheist couple steal my daughters bible?

Today my daughter came home crying because an atheist couple stole her bible. They told her they were agnostic atheist, and they weren't sure if god existed or not and if she could share a few words. My daughter talked to them until she got off the bus, but when she got off she noticed she didn't have her bible and as the bus drove away the agnostic atheists were laughing and waving the bible at her through the window. How can these people be so mean to children?

They try to disprove other peoples faith so that they can feel better about their lack of faith. If they are not Christians they have no moral convictions to God so to them it is OK to steal. Unfortunately many people have to learn things the hard way.

They don't want to actually know the truth but rather that the false belief of there being no God be propagated. When those who are evil, hear the light of the truth they reject it and do anything they can to either suppress it, make others like them, or harm those who read to them the light of truth as the truth keeps telling them their ways are wrong and they rather pretend as if they are not.

Why do you allow your daughter to carry sacred scripture around like a dime-store novel?
