Default Atheists, do you hope that you will become the majority one day?

I hope rational thought will become the prevailing mode of thought, yes.

I suspect that we're the "silent majority" now.

No, if someone wants to believe in a god its their right.
I wish people would not follow something like a sheep but hey, I guess logic isn't for everyone.
But I want a separation between church and state and I'll be happy

It'll probably happen one day, far in the future, when people will hopefully be less credulous.

Well, there's Belgium... Need more? No? Well, move to Belgium then, it's even humiliating to say you're christian here

Not atheism, but rather secularism. In other words, a world where religion is something private and beliefs are to be respected, but religion is no longer a driving force in our governments, schools, and society in general.

I don't think that they wish to be a majority, just for people to stop abusing each other in the name of myth. That and for the nutters to stop forcing ridiculous belief systems down other peoples throats.

I am not bothered about what other people believe in but I know that the world would be a far safer place if there were no religions to fight about, if all of the worlds religious rulers and people would all be more tolerant of each other and accept that other people believe in a faith different from their own I would be happy with that, provided that they accepted that many people have no belief in a god at all.
