Default Why would I take atheists at their word?

They say they are against every religion, but they only attack Christianity. I don't buy it. If they really were against all, they would learn enough to be able to attack and defend against all. I don't believe them. I don't care if they mock me. God exists. and I don't care if they say He doesn't. I don't care if they don't care what I say. The first amendment and free will both apply. but they stop at my skin, just as those things do at the skin of atheists.

I'm an atheist, and I don't attack anyone. I'm just more likely to contradict a Christian because it's the Christians who come on here and attack atheists, it's not like you get Taoists and Hindus on here asking why atheists are all gay or something.
Fair enough if you think that God exists, I respect your views.

Christianity is riddled with plot holes, but besides that tidbit, have you ever considered that it only seems like they attack Christianity because you're viewing the scenario through christian eyes? Why would an atheist debate with you about how some other religion is false when you believe in Christianity? An atheist mind is based off of logic and there's just no logic behind arguing the lack of validity of one religion when there is no one there to defend it.

Usually "atheists" would ignore religions. It's just that Christianity is in their face all the time.

Since you speak English, Christianity is probably the only religion in your country capable of interfering with other people's lives via the political process by passing repressive legislation.

So atheists in English-speaking countries probably think it's best to eliminate Christianity as rapidly as possible, since it's such a destructive social force and makes people willfully and assertively ignorant.

Don't.

They are opinionated, not objective. They believe in no God, even when He really exists.

Some atheists will avoid an argument and respect our religious freedom, but insist on believing that God does not exist. I can respect that person, but God still exists. They just don't want to worship God, that's fine. If they were to say that, instead of telling 6 billion people that they are wrong or crazy, they would receive so much respect and understanding. Wouldn't that be a better situation than what we have now?

We would get along better if they would say that and avoid the standoff.

Atheists and Liberals attack Christianity primarily because they will not bring reprisal against themselves for doing so. However . . .if you say you don't believe in god and religion . . . that is not an affront on Christianity any more than any religion.

I guess you can say, I dint believe in God . . however I do believe the basic tenets of Chritian-based religions, in regards to conduct and how to be a good person, and always striving. I think those are good thing. I certainly have no reason to believe that atheists disdain good moral behavior . . in other words . . I doubt that atheists are anarchists . . . Liberals tend to be though. Liberals would throw the baby out with the bath water.

Why is this rant in Words and Wordplay? This looks like a religious question.
