Why do people make such a big deal about today's date if they are atheist?

Makes me wonder, if they believe in something, why not believe in the truth? Jesus is my Lord and Savior!!!!

People act as a whole and will make a big deal out of anything they think someone will follow.

The mindless are easily scared. Remember the hype about the new selenium? I had friends that refused to leave the house that day.

After that they were afraid to leave the house for fear someone would see them for their stupidity.

Nobody of any intelligence is taking this date seriously any more than any other day.

I think it is just as exciting as 01.01.01 was, and 02.02.02 was, and 03.03.03, and 04.04.04 and 05.05.05... next year I will hold a party at 07.07.07.

It is a big deal because the twelfth of December in 2012 is the last day this triple number will occur until we reach 01.01.3001. and if the human race keep up doing things the same way as we do today, that day will never come.

if they have fear than it means that they believe in something..but the problem is : in what? maybe they don't know what to believe in and they start fearing about different things like a number.. day.. etc

Okay , I guess I will give it a try and be Christian- I will listen to the Lord and he says that to not listen to those who stand on street corners boasting about their faith.
