I think atheism is silly. I think that where no proof exists absolutely, then no decision can be made absolutely. what I can tell you is that you use too much punctuation

I've been an atheist since the age of 18 (26 years). Atheism is NOT a religion; but keep in mind, it is not necessarily ANTI-religion either. It is a personal choice.
I don't begrudge anyone their personal beliefs, just so long as they do not use force or fraud to get me to believe them.
There's nothing wrong with being respectful.

I think unless you can prove there is no God, then you shouldn't be an atheist. People who believe in God aren't required by definition to prove God exists because only the belief is needed for membership, whereas Atheism is a staunch "there is no god" religion - that is why i prefer Agnosticism to Atheism.

Well...if you have the TRUE definition of an atheist...it'll be someone that doesn't believe i...well...pretty much anything. An atheist is not a religion per say...it's a point of view...a philosophy...not a religion. Religion requires faith in something...atheists have no faith. An atheist doesn't say "I don't believe in God"...they say "I don't have a belief"...cause they dint' even recognize there could be a God. By mentioning GOD you're say in' that you believe he exists...atheist don't and are therefore say in' I don't have a belief...period. You my friend, are not an atheist. You just dint' believe in God.

I Don't agree with it at all. Even Einstein realized there had to be a greater being that created everything.

There's a relatively new book called something like the "The God Part of the Brain'. I haven't read it but I understand the thesis is that there is a part of the Human brain which needs to believe in something higher than him/herself. Further, like other genetic traits, some have it, and perhaps some don't, or they have it in a weaker form.

i think the people who are obsessed with Christianity and god are ridiculous, but i wouldn't consider myself an atheist. I'm somewhere in between.

Well, if you represent atheists and want to make an impression on others, I suggest you run a grammar and punctuation check before posting such a silly, self-defeating question.

It really doesn't matter what we think, if your beliefs are correct. It only matters if you are incorrect. Think about that when you go to bed tonight.

Can't say that I do, but to each his own. You don't play in my yard and I won't play in yours.
