Default Tell me about the Baha'i Faith Please.. Why are they "Radical"?

From the few pages of literature that i have read on them, So far. I like the general principal of the religion..

I think.

Equality for all. No poor, No Wealth. Everyone on an equal Standing. I like that.

BUT.

I have heard alto of Pol say that they are Radicals.

I read that they say no religion is wrong. But all different interpretations of the same god.

Yet iv been told ta ht they are very, ... Condemming. That everyone else is wrong. And that they are very manipulative.

I read that they are about equality. Yet i heard ta ht they keep their women submissive.

Someone told me they worked with someone who converted and he went crazy. Bought a ton of guns, and made his wife quit her job and be a stay at home mother.

Are these things true?

Are they radicals like ta ht. ?

I like what i read, But i have only heard the opposite from what i read.

Can anyone Pl clarify things for me
Christianity is not my native religion.
Maybe yours... NOT mine.

And Christianity cant do equality better. ha ha.

Christianity is based on fear and hate.

yea yea. You say its about love and god.

BUT>
Tell me why 90% of all the Murder in the world has been in the name of your oh so merciful god?

Bahai's are being killed out of existence in Iran. They are pacifistic, vs, the kill everybody else of the Wahhabi's. The Whabs are the militant, killer, hunter units of Islam. They consider the Bahais to be heretics, for their belief that their prophet, Bahala, or whatever, was the latest send by the big Deity in the Sky. They except all religious belief, and are into home school type activities. Much more popular before 9/11.

Anything the Bahai faith can do Christianity can do better, including emphasizing the equal worth of all human beings. Why would you want to trade in your own native, ancestral religion for a foreign import?

They left me with a negative impression, however I do try to be tolerant of other peoples beliefs and idiosyncrasies.

Hi, i am a Baha'i, Why would these things be true,if you just heard it of some one? Listen to what you truly think, and dint mind what other people say, judge only if you met some Baha'is before.
We believe in equality between men and women, peace on earth and that all religions are in essence the same.

Hope i could help you , but if you have anymore questions, please do contact me. Have a nice day

I am a Baha'i and one of the many things that I like about the Baha'i Faith is that it states clearly that we all should investigate religion for ourselves and the best way to do that is to read the Writings of the Faith directly since that is the source of the Baha'i Faith. There will always be varying views on any topic and the only way to discern what is right is by reading the Writings themselves and determining if they are of God.

Also, I can not help but comment on a previous entry. It mentioned that Christianity is your "native" religion whereas the Baha'i Faith is a "foreign" import. Just as a point of fact both religions came from the Middle East - both are "foreign" imports - it just so happens that Christianity existed before the Faith did. Also, from a Baha'i perspective, Christianity and the Baha'i Faith are really one Faith from the same God - just sent at different times with Messages that were appropriate for the people of that day.

So is the Faith "radical" (as defined as "departing markedly from the usual or customary") I would have to say "yes" since all new Messages from God depart from the norm. Why would God send a new Messenger just to inform people about something they already believe?
