Baha'is. Atheists, Christians, is there any way to contact someone on here?
in R&S to tell them you would like for them to email you? Say, as an example, you saw a couple of answers to a question, one answer was by Valerie and one by The Declawed Ceiling Kitty (both made up names), but neither one had checked the option to allow email and you wanted to get in touch with them, is there any way around it? Can I say in an answer to a question by Declawed that I would like him (or her) to email me? Can I ask a question and say, "Declawed, if you see this, email me." Or would that be going against the Community guidelines?
Thanks!!
Ram-knee, this may not have occurred to you, but were I a troll or a stalker I would not be asking the question and were I of a mind I would not have to far too look to find someone who is intelligent enough to do electronic stalking but is wise enough, moral and polite enough to not do any stalking. He also is polite enough to not call people names when he does not know them. There might be a lesson there.
Almost all good answers, save one who might want to add the word "frost" to his name. His answer gets a chilly response from me. I think I am going to put all the names on a dartboard save that one, and then back up a few yards and let that decide Best Answer.
Well, you can try to be a "fan" or "friend" of the person you want to contact, which may show the email address; or if they have it available, you could try to contact them through "messenger"...
...just suggestions.
As long as you answer the question with a real answer, I don't think it's against the guidelines to put a note on the bottom that you'd like them to email you.
Of course, just make sure you have enabled YOUR e-mail feature. Don't put your e-mail address in the answer.
Unfortunately, that is a clear violation of the CG. It would be calling out another user, even if the intent is good.
If you don't care about points, though, it is about the most effective way.
The way mentioned above works if those people are revisiting their answers, and is probably safer.
You just have to sign in to Facebook it's really hard here.
I met many Baha'is on Facebook (I'm interested in it), you can also visit the Online Baha'i library, it's very informative. There are articles about everything.
