Default Fasting in many other religions (Judaic, Islamic, Coptic Catholic, Baha'i) starts at

Does this apply to Lent for other Catholics?...do we fast in the evening or early morning?
Thank you for your kind responses.

Christian weighing in here, I know you did not ask this, but I fast at different times in different ways like, say you told me a problem and we prayed together, I would fast and begin right then and there. I have fasted for seven days for seven hours each day. I guess it depends.

Actually, In Judaism, it's from sunset to sunset the next day, at least for Yom Kippur.
