The Baha'i Faith has many core values, but ones that address unity are:
+ The Oneness of God - all religions worship the same God, who has sent Messengers down to show us how to worship Him
+ The Oneness of Religion - all religions are essentially carrying the same fundamental truths via those Messengers from God; the message is updated from dispensation to dispensation to reflect man's maturity and ability to understand complex concepts, but when it's all boiled down the religions are teaching the same thing. Thus all religions are valid paths to God - this is radically different than what some other religions teach.
+ The Oneness of Mankind: The Baha'i Faith works actively to achieve the equality of men and women and elimination of prejudices of all kinds (two concepts that seem "normal" to Western society now but even 40 years ago were considered radical), to deliver universal education to all children, to promote a universal auxiliary (secondary) language, and to promote a global structure of governance.
Baha'is are also keenly interested in achieving World Peace through peaceful means. We do not condone wars of any kind (except self-defense). Baha'is are not pacifists, but are very close to it. We also believe that education, elimination of prejudices, and a common language will help to dissolve barriers and lift veils of ignorance, furthering mankind's progression towards a peaceful existence.
