Default Baha'is, why is it that you do not try to convert others?

For me, I will readily share my beliefs but if you tell me you are not interested, I will leave you alone as far as matters of spirituality. But I love to share with those I love. Yet another gustatory concoction of mine that has won kudos in the past, a new flavor of ice cream or a glimpse of newly-hatched bluebirds in one of my bird houses. I will offer to share my faith with you in the same manner I will offer a serving of some dish I have created to let you see if it is to your taste. If it is not, then by offering I have done my part, have done all I can and should do.

A second reason that I like to share it is I firmly believe that the Baha'i Faith is the only way mankind has to achieve world peace. Not just the best way, but the only way. Furthermore, I believe there is a critical mass that when reached, when enough hearts are attracted to Baha'u'llah we will have world peace almost overnight. I am doing what I can to help reach that critical mass.

A final(?) reason I readily share it is that I do not believe I have the right to choose for you. If I tell you the Baha'i Faith exists and share just a bit of it with you, then you have the choice to investigate it or not. If I choose not to tell you about it, I have made a choice for myself, but I have made one for you also. In effect, I have chosen that you will not investigate it for yourself. (Yes, I realize this is related to the first, but I felt it important to emphasize.)

To conclude, it is only here that I will at least sometimes try several times to pique your interest, but even here, if I feel I have sufficiently done my part, I will bother you no more. I will ever be available and ready to answer questions, but you first have to let me know you are interested.

In the eternity of eternities, there is a dimension called ?faith.? The realm of faith. The thing called ?science? is contained in this dimension/realm. Not all science is a joke. Faith is: action-in-a-context-or-matrix-of- not-perfect-knowledge.

Faith is action?

Faith is your will moving things, such as mind and matter in the midst of an eternity of eternities, the not-perfect-knowledge portion of these eternities. If you knew what was going to happen before it happened, if your knowledge was perfect, then faith would be ?dormant??

Since your knowledge is not perfect, and since you don?t know what you are about to read on the page, the page of your future (all things have their likeness), you keep moving. Good job. Seek and ye shall find.

Faith is movement or action, will. Your eyes move over these words, your brain moves over them. You act upon these words not knowing before hand what you?re going to read. Learn to read the future if you have faith to do so, to learn to do so. Your faith would be dormant in such a case of knowing the future eternity?

Faith is movement of the mind.

Movement in the dimension of the Changeless is what it is. Freedom in the Changeless is what it is. Knowledge is the light of truth; intelligence was not created or made, it can?t be created or made. You were in the beginning with God, that which is Spirit, even the spirit of truth. Truth is knowledge of things as they Are.

All contradictions in the Changeless are what they are. These are words; they may refer to something if you have the faith to bring to pass the meaning, even the true meaning thereof.

One of your long term goals?trillions upon trillions of eons?may be to transcend Experience. For now, you may just want to focus on saving your money and getting enough exercise.

Because they fear the repercussion of international law; they are not macho enough to handle it.

Bahai, the idea that all the 'prophets' were in fact prophets ? Sounds silly.

Why would you try to convert when you believe that all religions are going the same direction? Do you not say that there is good in all religions to the point of adopting the nine principal religions in the world into your beliefs? Do you not believe that these nine Principal religions are all of divine origin and are facets on the one truth? Seems to me if this is Bahai, that converting is a waste of time since all are going to the same place as you anyway.

Sounds like you are answering a question, not asking one. Of course Baha'is share their beliefs with others. We simply don't consider it our duty to change them. Besides "to convert" means to change ones beliefs. When we become a Baha'i we don't reject our previous beliefs, instead we embrace their fulfillment.

I always try very actively to introduce the Baha'i Faith, because mankind need urgently this new Message of God to solve the global problems of this Age of human maturity. If people don't know about it, it is really my fault.
But I have no power to convert people. Any persons who turn to God, God will enlighten their minds and lead them to all truth.
You can read this bog to see how hard I am trying:
