The Baha'i faith is an independent world religion whose purpose is to unite the peoples of the world in one common faith and one common cause. It is founded by Baha'u'llah, a Manifestation of God, in the19Th century.
As you see the world in as it is now, there is a lot of corruption, war and sadness. Baha'u'llah has come to help and guide humanity, like Jesus or Mohammed has done in previous times. The Manifestations (Messengers) all come from One God, all for the same purpose. Love and Unity. Only difference is time and the level of understanding we have. Its like a seed that grows into a beautiful flower. People 2000 years ago dint have the same needs as we do now.
The Baha'i Faith has several core principles; unity in diversity, peace on earth, equality between men and women, science and religion go hand in hand, etc.
