One does not need to follow any particular religion to be spiritual. Religion is a human made thing that sometimes makes it easier for us to worship in a group setting and that some people find comfort in. It is an outward expression of an inward (spiritual) feeling.

John 14:6-7 (New International Version)

6Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him."

'Nuff, said?

You must go on your own spiritual journey to find what you believe what is right for you.

There is no 1 true faith. All faiths teach similar things.
Believe in what you want, i suggest Baha'i

You don't need religion. You need God. To know Him and His will for your life you need to read the Bible. Praying is good and I'm glad you are doing that and seeking after what will happen for eternity. Only God can lead and guide you. Not signs or man. The Bible is His Words and the only way to know the truth is to read it.

no one religion is "right" - wars have been waged for centuries over this mind set.

what you need to do is seriously consider what religion is right for you, personally. contact your local public or community college & see if there is a comparative religion course available that you could take in the evenings. also, most houses of religion offer specific "intro to..." courses for persons just wanting to learn more about their beliefs.

i was raised in christian faith (Lutheran - there are many many many different sects of Christianity, so you can't just go by one lump description) but had not practiced any faith at all since about the age of 15 and was basically an agnostic. at age 31 i converted to reform Judaism. the synagogue i now belong to offered an introduction to Judaism course, and after i had attended those classes i found that Judaism most closely matched my social, political and spiritual beliefs so that was what i chose as "right" for me.

I'm 17 also! :]]
no, you dint need it. some people just depend on it to explain things like death and what not, its a comfort thing i guess to think like "it was their time there is nothing i could have done." to make them self's feel better, some people need something to believe in to be strong and some were just raised that way. some parents find it a tool, "be good of your going to hell" i also dint understand those who hate. if Jesus died for our sins and they consider being like gay a sin then if that's really the real religion then when you die shouldn't you be forgiven? i mean hating gays and people of color and other religions is wrong anyway but still they never put a positive spin on it, which is why I'm sort of a fan of Buddhism. they are a little more one with the world. but they have their flaws 2. i have grown up in a predominantly Jewish community and the main stream ones have some pretty good views oh how to be but I'm not a fan of the extremist out look on anything. my best friend is catholic and that is a repressive religion and my boyfriends family is Mormon, that is one directions i suggest not following. you need something that lets you respect yourself and others, leaves you free to be yourself and one that is open. i am a non believer but i admire those who have true faith but i despise those who push it upon others. i think that the most realistic and peaceful rout would be the way to go. best of luck discovering yourself

Though your statement that Christianity is a copy of Egyptian beliefs is incorrect, I applaud your desire to seek a more formal path to God.

Playing "Erny-meeny-miney-moe" with Christianity, Islam and Baha'i worship is a pretty lame idea. You need to learn more about these religious traditions. Their values are not identical. Since most believers do not accept that salvation or wholeness is fully available in other faiths, your casual approach would make you feel uncomfortable in any of them.

I suggest some reading about each tradition and visit their faith communities. I recommend my own Roman Catholic faith. But if that's too much for you, consider some of the less cradle varieties of Christianity, such as Quakerism or Unitarianism.

I am Pagan. But my belief is this. The Creator.....call it what you will....does not and acknowledges no religion. Religion is MAN made. Any religion claiming to be right and holds the complete truth is an outright liar.
I do not possess nor want any kind of holy book. They all were writ en by MAN. And as such are to be treated with some contempt....also like crutches, for the spiritually weak and disabled.
If there is a life after death I am sure I will know about it at the time of my death.....til then I have a life to lead here on earth.
Though I do not believe in the devil, Satan, call it what you like. As I don't believe in hell. Nor sin.
It is up to all to find their own path in life....but never to allow anything or anyone to dictate that given choice.
I know about the Baha'is. And yes, they are a very spiritually beautiful people....but I have learned that such a religion, like all the organized religions of the earth, are not for me.
Pagan to me all owes me to practise what I will as and when I so choose. And I hurt none by it.
Neither do Pagans believe in conversion.
Find a good desolate spot. Weigh up all those things in your heart......and make your choice for there. It is up to you at the end of the day.
And let me add: I also do not require a prophet in my life. I can commune with the creator on a one to one bases without any kind of mediator. Good luck in your quest.
