Encyclop?dia Britannica Online estimates that they had about 7.4 million members worldwide in mid-2002:

6 million worldwide is the estimate typically/casually used by most of the Baha'i community. The number of "declared" believers is possibly larger, but the number of "active" believers is considerably less. Nobody knows how much less though.

The Baha'i Faith has one of the fastest growth rates of any global religion and has been one of the fastest growing for several years now.
