All religion is man?s attempt to please their gods and control other people. Religion has rules, rituals and laws to follow. Every religion believes that they have the answers for redemption. The answers for religion lies within man?s ability to follow it?s teachings.

Jesus is God?s way to reach down to mankind with love, forgiveness, acceptance and grace. Jesus is not a religion. He is God and He is the way for man to have fellowship with God.

When we come to Jesus, we are full of the original sin nature and the sins that we have committed. He cleanses us when we accept Him as our Lord and Savior and repent of those sins.

Our redemption and salvation results from Jesus? willful and sacrificial death on the cross to take our place for our sin nature and our sins. He is the only atonement possible because He is without sin. Jesus does it for us because we are incapable of following any religion perfectly. He did follow the law perfectly.

Coming to Jesus, not religion, is what God requires for us to become forgiven, sanctified, and have the relationship with God that He intended from the start. Jesus is the only way to God.

It's a religion that believes that the "prophets" from several world religions were all messengers of God, and that all people are equal/there is only one race. Pretty cool, really, although I don't know that much about them.

Please go to WNW.bahai.org for all the information you could ever want on this incredible religion.

Essentially Baha'is believe that all religions spring from the one source, which we call God, but not necessarily in the sense of the Judeo-Christian tradition. Baha'is believe that God is so beyond our comprehension that any image we have of God is simply an analogy, so you can choose to visualize God in a way that works for you, like "the link between all human beings", "love", "the essence", "the Creator", or all of these things, or something else altogether. Though we know quite a lot about God's attributes from the teachings of His Messengers (although God is without gender, we use His as a convention; the equality of men and women is a central tenet of the Faith).

Even the Bahi's dint know or wont tell you, but it was started from a deviant sect of Shi'a Islam. The have tried to make it into a "one size fits all' religion....but if you look at the rituals its just corrupted Islam in the end....

Um, don't believe the hype. They are just as homophobic as the other traditional Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christianity, Islam) and for all their talk of the equality of men and women, they do not allow women to serve on the Universal House of Justice which is their highest authority in the religion (and the group they feel will eventually become the world government and rule over all of the non-Baha'is as well).

BTW, they "accept" other faiths as true as valid only to the point that they feel that Baha'i is now the true fulfillment of those religions (which they view as more primitive predecessors). To do this they often misrepresent the teachings and prophecies of earlier religions to "show" how they point to the "higher" truth of the Baha'i Faith.
