It is against the faith. Homosexuality is against every faith.

I do believe the Qua ran requires they be stoned to death.

Islam being a religion of PURE LOVE -- I certainly hope an least one true believer will be able to answer without tears.

I'm sure this link will answer all your questions about this issue...

"...it is clear from the teaching of Bah??u?Lelah that homosexuality is not a condition to which a person should be reconciled, but is a distortion of his or her nature which should be controlled or overcome. This may require a hard struggle, but so also can be the struggle of a heterosexual person to control his or her desires." - (From a letter of the Universal House of Justice to an individual believer, 12 January 1973; Lights of Guidance, p. 366, #1222)

Wow, I just love blanket statements like Pesky Wabbit's.

Homosexuality is accepted in a "faith". And in a spiritual based faith, not one ruled by hate, fear and ignorance. Paganisim teaches that all are love, and love is the most important thing. In all of it's forms.

I think they are against it. But just to inform your first answerer, homosexuality is NOT against every faith. It is widely accepted within Paganism. Maybe that's because we're not as judgmental as some.............................

Elephant .... provides the appropriate Baha'i position. To this I humbly add: that as Baha'is - we each struggle to define ourselves spiritually rather than sexually. But regardless - every human being must be treated with dignity and respect. Homosexuals are not to be persecuted or harassed nor (as wrongly implied above) stoned.

Baha'u'llah abrogated the laws of the Quran and asserted new social laws appropriate for now. For example, Baha'is don't stone adulates either. Therefore what may apply to Islam does not carry over to Baha'i.
