is Satan real? are demons real?
The demons seem to be in almost all holy books.
even though Baha'u'llah said that Satan is just a metaphor I'm starting to think differently.
I met him in a dream once Bobby
charming man , wanted me to face him .... I was scared
but eventually I found the strength to face him in my dreams
and he was nothing to fear at all
since that day , I remember that dream when I have issues to face in life
deal with things head on and do not fear
and that to me is what Satan is .... the things we fear
Satan is a spirit being that would like nothing more than for you to think of him as a metaphor. Satan is real and has at his disposal a legion of demons (also spirits) that roam around looking for whom they can devour. This is why the Apostle Paul says we need to put on the Full Armor of God to distinguish the arrows of the Evil One and stand firm against him. That Armor being His Word given through Jesus Christ. And to know that it is through Jesus and only through Jesus, the sinless one, that we can be saved and have a relationship with God. For it was through the sin of one man Adam when he was tricked by Satan that we are now all sinners, and so it was through the one man Jesus that we might all be saved if we believe in his dying on the cross for our sins and rising from the dead.
The Baha'u'llah is right, they are metaphors. Really the most evil beings are (potentially) ourselves, it's a matter of being able to control our vices and beastly tendencies and focus on matters that will aid in our survival as human beings and spiritual beings. Giving these vices anthropomorphic qualities makes it easier for us to visualize and deal with, but they themselves are not real.
If you r truly a Baha'i and your steadfast in your faith, then you know that Satan is just a metaphor, just believe what Baha'u'llah is saying. Ppl in the past didn't understand what the Manifestations of God were saying, so the Manifestations used metaphors , to simplify the teachings.
I'm a Baha'i but i'm having doubts :(?
