Default quick question about the Baha'i?

I was reading about them and they sound like a wonderful faith. i know they recognize Abraham and moses as prophets, but do they read any part of the bible? or only the sacred writings by Baha' u' ll ah?

I am a Catholic, but I believe in the Progressive Revelation theory of the Baha'i.

Baha'i, from what I understand, accept all religions to be valid and created by God. Therefore, the Bible, the Tanakh, the Quran, and the writings of the Baha' u' ll ah are all equally inspired, and would all be equally important to read.

The only thing different about the religions is that the specific laws are replaced over time, as our knowledge of the universe grows with time.

They believe in progressive revelation, so Abraham would be a manifestation of God to the Jews, Jesus to to Christians and so on.

So I would assume that they see the Bible has a great moral book and nothing more and they read the word of Baha'ullah.

my understanding (which could be wrong) is that Baha'i is an offshoot of Islam. they do respect other religions, but still believe in the writings of their own prophet & that is the main focus.

Baha'u'llah taught that the Bible is a Holy book. The quote from our Writings suggest that it should be read but that special efforts should be made to read the Baha'i Writings:

"Study the Holy Words, read your Bible, read the Holy Books, especially study the Holy Utterances of Bah?'u'll?h; Prayer and Meditation, take much time for these two."
Compilations, The Compilation of Compilations vol. I, p. 204
