Default What do you think about the Bah?'? Faith?

It seems to be a pretty righteous religion, however it is still a religion. Not that I think that religion is all bad, but it leads me to question, are we just really helpless beings that need to outsource our ways to find that spiritual balance? Can't people simply love & respect oneself & one another and let that be their personal guidance?

You can read all about it in a book called "The Kingdom of the Cults" available at your local Christian bookstore.

Its just as valid as any other religion because it has just as much evidence as any other religion (none).

I had a neighbor who was Bahai. She was one of the kindest, most generous, genuinely "good" people that I ever met. I use the Bahai prayerbook in my own devotions because the prayers are so poetic and beautiful. I do not know if the Bab and Bahaullah were prophets but I believe they were very spiritual men and humanity can learn much from what they wrote.

I have only known one person of Baha'i faith. She was, by far, the kindest, most loving person I knew as a teenager. I was afraid to look into what she believed at the time... as I am a preacher's kid <evangelical> and felt that I would be sinning if I did.

What I know about the religion could fit into one hand... but I certainly can't find anything to criticize. She was the first person to help me realize that people find "god" in different ways. I will always be grateful for that enlightenment.

I think the best way to find out about the Bahai Faith is to read from the original Baha'i Writings and not rely on sources created by people trying to attack it. If you truly wanted to find out about Christ and true Christianity, would you go to anti-Christian groups to find out about it, or would you go to the Bible and study it for yourself? People need to think and investigate reality for themselves, which is one of the main principles of the Baha'i Faith.

WNW.bahai.org is a good way to start your search.
