Ok here goes...Buddhism does not believe in a single God,They believe in Nature. And if you die and you were a good person, your soul goes to heaven,or you may be reincarnated. If you were a bad person you may go to hell,or reincarnated just to suffer as some hated animal, like a roach or something.Where as Christianity believes in God,Buddhism says that anyone can become a Buddha.

The difference is between the God or god they believe in. Christians believe that Jesus Christ is God, and Buddist's believe that there is a prophet named Budda who is a god.

The other difference is that the God of Christianity is living, and Buddha is not...He's just a statue.

Buddhism, in layman's terms, is a less judge mental and less moralistic faith, but there is such a variety of Buddhist sects compared to Christian sects...it's a tough ? to answer.

One thing is Buddhists do not try to convert you like some sects of Christianity do so that's a huge plus.

fieriest and for most bud dist don't really care if you believe in their god. i mean they (unlike other religions) ain't going to torture you and even kill you for having a different opioid. that is the biggest difference.

Christians believe that salvation will come through Jesus Christ and living by His Word. Buddhists believe that God (Atman?)is in all things and that it is man's natural state to eventually return to oneness with this source in Nirvana and that this is achieved through prolonged meditation and practice to free ones soul from attachments to the physical world. This, they believe, might take many lifetimes and possibly many different forms.

May be there are two most notable different between Chrsitianity and Budishm.

Christianity believe in one ultimate God (in my Judeo-Christian believe the God is Jehovah). Budishm in other hand doesn't believe the existence of monotheism God.

Christianity believe that someone salvation is a grace from God, and Jesus Christ is a way to the salvation. Budishm believe that everyone can arrive at his/her ultimate salvation, by the effort of himself. Interestingly, some ancient christian sect called gnostic believe the same thing like Budhism believe.
