Default Is there some kind of religion that is a combination of christianity and buddhism?

I love the beliefs and practices of Buddhism, but I strongly believe in God. i want to know if there is a religion currently established that is like that?

Might as well just make it up as you go, in that case.

Try Universalism.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universalism

"Universalism refers to religious, theological, and philosophical concepts with universal ("applying to all") application or applicability. It is a term used to identify particular doctrines considering all people in their formation. In religion and theology, "universalism" is a principle that asserts that all people are under the consideration and Love of God, and that theological concepts (doctrines) which conform to this concept are in fact more in accord with the divine concepts."

ADD: A previous answer is partly right. Buddhism CAN be a philosophy or a religion. As a philosophy it not in conflict with Christianity.
Dogmatic Christianity is in conflict with most (all) other belief systems, but many Christians consider it a interpretation (popularized by force). Many early Christians did not agree on interpretations of the belief nor on which books should be canon (official). During a series of councils (starting with the First Council of Nicaea) and meetings an official Christian party line was established and all other were considered "heretical".
Heretics were first ejected from the mother church then later were the target of violence. It is only in the last 1-2 hundred years that it has been possible to even explore other Christian concepts without risk of being burned at the stake.

If it is your belief, go with it. If you want fellowship try the Unitarian Universalists. They are accepting of all belief systems.

There's nothing preventing a Buddhist from also considering themselves a Xtian.

Xtian churches tend to discourage their followers from following Buddhism, though.

Try Unitarian Universalism. They're all about figuring out "the truth," and would very much support you in your journey of being a Buddhist Christian.

(By the way, Buddhism is a philosophy, not a religion. So it's not as hard to utilize both in your life simultaneously.)

On some level, the two are very close. I suggest you explore the mystical tradition in Christianity.

Caodaism in Vietnam. A mixture of Buddhism, Confucianism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, Taoism, as well as Geniism, an indigenous religion of Viet Nam.

Bound to be.

Not to be recommended, although you can use certain Buddhist techniques and lessons and apply them to your Christian walk with God.

M Scott Peck is a good writer to look into if you are interested.

Christianity stole many ideas from Buddhism anyway, so technically it is already mixed in with Buddhism. Read the Tibetan book of the dead, and then learn many of Jesus teachings they are identical, some of the things Jesus said are identical to what Buddha said. Many believe Jesus' lost years where spend in the far east learning these things. There are many books about it.

Pure-land Buddhism or Nichiren Buddhism may fit the bill for you.

Yoga philosophy (Raja Yoga) ... it has meditation, reincarnation, karma. And it believes in God, and a personal relationship with God. Yoga teaches that our soul is a divine spark of God, and that our ultimate home is to re-unite with God through meditation practice.
