i used to think that too until i learned about world religions in the world. even though it originated in India, its strongest base right now is in the East. more people there are Buddhist than in India. Buddhism was wiped out of its homeland (India) with when Muslim (Turks or mongols, not sure) migrated into India. they raided the Buddhist temples and thus eradicated it from India. people think that where a religion originated would probably be in the most prominent place. thus since it is most popular in the east, they think it originated there. howver they did not realize that it may have been eradicated from its homeland

Hinduism is so large and complicated that it tends to absorb other religious systems. They merely consider Buddha to be another avatar of Vishnu. Some even see Jesus that way.

If you are a Phd holder in looking after the kids, what if one of your kids come up with a technology to make some paper bags from some old papers ?

You might say, let the technology get spread so that old papers are used plus kids and adults also get engaged.

With spread of the technology when the paper bags become so abundant and cheap in your own place with lower demand, as a kid expert you might be thinking of new innovative schemes for the kids and even come up with innovative things either from kids or yourself.

Whereas in other places where the paper bags are still in demand they may continue. But since with the bulk production of paper bags at one place getting stopped, the demand for that might increase with time and again you may start a still smaller unit to cater to the demand.

Maybe something like this could be some of God's agendas with various names of any religious or non religious organizations.
