Christianity is the only way into heaven, and Buddhism won't get anyone into heaven, but you are free to believe in whatever religion you want. =)

Worshipping your cat would be a better religion than Christianity, which is one of the most perverted, hijacked and anti-human concepts ever conjured up in the superstitious mind of man.

not sure Buddhism would be correctly called religion. it is better than all religions praising a deity.

Buddhism is really fun -- until you die. THEN you realize that Buddhism has left you totally unprepared to be in the Presence of God.

Yes Buddhism is better because unlike other religions it does not involve god and every aspect of what a person does is not dictated by god, Buddhism is more like way of life. It teach you to be good and kind and in that way you are saved.

However other religions are far more complicated and involves an endless number of things e.g Christianity is not simply about being good its about believing in Jesus and god and doing certain things.

Lastly I believe all religions are equal but this is my personal preference, we all have our reasons for our opinion.

That depends on what part of the world you live in and your ethnically/racial ancestry, family values. Honestly though all religions are flawed and if your looking for religion choose the one that best fits you otherwise be an agnostic(not sure if a God exist or not) or an atheist.

The path to a relationship with God as depicted in the Scripture is the Way, Truth and The Light, i.e., Jesus Christ. Budda's path was a way to escape the cruel cycle of rebirths (whatever that is). Also, the Buddha rejected subservience of any kind to a supreme God and denied belief in an eternal self. Scriptures teaches us how to be one with Our King and our God, spiritually. To love thy neighbor as you would love your self and love God with all your heart, soul and mind. Much better approach. In addition, we who are adopted through and by Jesus Christ become heirs and will reign with him.

One Way Jesus

No.

First, there is no God in Buddhism, which is an unreality. There is no future or past, just an eternity of no changes. That is blown away by science that shows everything we see had a beginning.

Their concepts of repeating cycles of lives, and the end goal of becoming "one with the universe" is as empty a teaching as any that Christendom has come up with.

And as far as being "peaceful" then why are the most feared warriors monks are Buddhists? Can you say Kung Fu, Grasshopper?

It depends on what the individual makes of the religion.

Buddhist encourage people to follow whatever path benefits them.

Buddhism is a very moralistic religion. Buddhism believes in personal responsibility. Xianity is amoral, as heaven and hell have nothing to do with moral behavior. Xianity asserts a human sacrifice atones others.

Buddhism is more compatible with science because Buddhism will not contradict science. If it ever does, Buddhism will change (according to the Dalai Lama, and Buddhist doctrine).

I see Xians in this thread spreading false statements about Buddhism, and they probably think that is virtuous. Buddhist dogma assert false and slanderous speech is immoral (Right Speech) and causes damage to the speaker.

Buddhism has no "Holy Scriptures". Nothing is Holy in Buddhism.

Buddhists acknowledge their mythology as mythology, and deity figures as constructs of the mind.

Buddhism rejects faith and is focused on logic. It reminds me of the Vulcan religion on Star Trek.

Buddhism teaches morality, moderation, and independence. Xianity teaches salvation, austerity, and subjugation.

If these things seem better to you, than you think Buddhism is better.
