That was a shocking story.

I don't know WHY we're shocked -- with the millions upon millions of abortions performed worldwide each year, it would be probable that some weren't disposed of properly (if there could even be such a thing as proper disposal of a dead baby).

Thailand has outlawed Abortion. When Abortion is outlawed this is the result. Women still get abortions, they just do it in secret, and you end up with secret dump sites for fetuses.

Outlawing Abortion does not stop Abortion - it only removes if from your sight.

This is an illegal and immoral activity. It is the result of illegal abortions and illegal transfer of dead bodies to the temple for cremation. Involved people are being punished by law. This has nothing to do with Buddhism. Killing violates the first precept and the people who did that are not the real Buddhists.
