Default in Buddhism, are the five skandhas, the psycho-physical personality, and the five agg

i am doing a research on Buddhism and i have come across these three things that sound somewhat similar. i need to know whether they are the same thing or not so i don't sound stupid when writing my paper.

Yes, they are the same thing. Aggregates is the translation used for the Sanskrit word scandals.

FIVE AGGREGATES (Kandahar's or sands or heaps):
Physical and mental components of the personality (ego) and of sensory experience in general

1. Form/physical phenomena, body (pupa )

2. Feeling (Vedanta ) - pleasant, unpleasant, neutral. Feelings arise when there is contact between the 6 internal organs and the 6 external objects: (eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, mind & corresponding: sight, sound, odor, taste touch, mental object)

3. Perception (Sana) ? recognition

4. Mental Formations (Sankara) ? includes mental states, emotions, volition (fabrications)

5. Consciousness (Vienna) ? grasps the characteristics of the 6 external objects

Buddhism describes Mind and Matter that make us as five scandals. They are called aggregates because all of them prey together on the senses at the same time to extract pleasure.

Psycho-physical personality is the cognitive function of the brain. It is cognitive which means psychological. It is brain which means it is physical.

When the brain changes (e.g. brain injury, stroke, dementia etc. etc.). our personality changes.

So, psycho-physical personality is a physical (reprehend) Kaunda of the five aggregates.
