To understand and accept that life is hard. When we come to accept, and understand, that's when we're ready to "come to peace".

The Art of becoming, being and staying awaken. Which applies to the literal meaning as well as to transcendental one. In order to understand BUDDHISM, one should should spend a lot of sleepless time.

Nirvana is the extinctions of the limits of the finite self. To obtain Nirvana is the highest goal. By following the Eightfold Path and the Four Noble Truths can you obtain Nirvana.

Follow the teaching of the the Buddha to...

Relinquish all desires and pains as an illusion.

Refrain from harm to any living creature.

Relinquish your sense of self and being separate from all being.

Attain a state a consciousness where your ego is dissolved and you become one with all being.

Once you do this you escape the cycle of rebirth at death and graduate to what comes beyond.
