Default Mahayana Sect.........?
Which Sect contains the least amount of religious material? Meaning contains less rituals, symbols, idols, etc and just focuses primarily on meditation and compassion

The Evil Penguin army? sect and the more general Evil Penguin? sect contain little religious material. We focus on clubbing baby seals and invading Tasmania.

I don't know much about Zen, but Theravadan has very little ritual.
