Default Isn't Satanism a form of Christianity?

One has to believe the Bible to believe in Satan...
Or does Satan have a different set of scriptures?

I'd say so, or at least a response to it.

You can believe that Satan exists, but that is NOT Satanism.

There is a difference between knowing your enemy's strengths and worship ping them.

Yes, Christian religious leaders put the fear of Satan into the masses. That way those in power can get the flock to carry out their dirty work to serve their own corruption (see the Crusades).

Satanism is NOT a form of Chritianity.. Christians are followers of Jesus CHRIST. By the way CHRIST is NOT his last name. It means the messiah.

Satanists are followers of Satan.

not even! "you shall have no other gods before Me" Exodus 20:3 and Deuteronomy 5:7 you are confused, God made Satan!and God is a jealous God "Do not worship any other god, for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God." Exodus 34:14

Just because you believe in the Bible doesn't mean you're a Christian though. Christian's believe in Christ and that he is the Savior and he's the bridge from sin to heaven. So no, Satanism isn't a form of Christianity.

Yep. And this strikes me as quite funny. If someone is foolish enough to believe in a god and a devil (and let's face it, "Satanists", the character Lucifer is from the bible), and the same bible states that your side will LOSE...

Well, that's about as dumb as it gets folks.

But really, I think most "Satanists" are just immature nerds and/or social rejects. If they really believed there was a devil, they'd change their tune in a heartbeat, and be singing hymns just as loud as the rest.

Yes. Christianity invented Satan. I believe that there are many Christians out there who are not true Christians in the sense that they are judgmental, always trying to convert non Christians and telling them they are wrong and that their way is the only way.
these are the satanists, as they label themselves as Christians, but have no real idea what a true christian is.
A true christian will live and let live and believes they don't have the right to interfere in other people's business. A true christian understands the concept of religious freedom and tolerance.
Only a Satanist could turn Christianity into a hypocritical and judgmental belief system that the world is fed up of.

The belief in Satan is a Christian belief but it is far from Satanism. Satanism does actually have it's own bible which is completely different from the Bible Christians have. Satanism's first commandment is "Do what you want".

Although Satan is mentioned in the Bible, it is not a form of Christianity. One can worship Satan without believe in him, the christian Bible is clear that if one doesn't worship and belong to God he/she is a child of Satan.

That depends on what form of Satanism you're talking about.

Religious Satanism has nothing to do with the Satan of the Christian Bible. Satan is seen as a force of nature, not a living entity, which predates the Christian Bible and Christian idea of a living Satan. In fact, Satanism isn't even the worship of Satan (in any sense) - it is the worship of self, if anything.

Pseudo-Satanism is that teenage-dabbler type stuff. Dress in black, wear cool jewelry, hang out in graveyards in the middle of the night and sacrifice cats, etc. is all false Satanism. Actual Satanism does not condone physical sacrifice or torture, and abuse of any kind is not a part of Satanism, either.

Satanism is actually a step better than atheism. Believe it or not, they have some morals. Here are the rules of the church of Satan.

1. Do not give opinions or advice unless you are asked.
2. Do not tell your troubles to others unless you are sure they want to hear them.
3. When in another?s lair, show him respect or else do not go there.
4. If a guest in your lair annoys you, treat him cruelly and without mercy.
5. Do not make sexual advances unless you are given the mating signal.
6. Do not take that which does not belong to you unless it is a burden to the other person and he cries out to be relieved.
7. Acknowledge the power of magic if you have employed it successfully to obtain your desires. If you deny the power of magic after having called upon it with success, you will lose all you have obtained.
8. Do not complain about anything to which you need not subject yourself.
9. Do not harm little children.
10. Do not kill non-human animals unless you are attacked or for your food.
11. When walking in open territory, bother no one. If someone bothers you, ask him to stop. If he does not stop, destroy him.

I like numbers 9,10, and 11.

I still think it is better than no religion. Although atheists who are secular humanists are trying to promote goodness, there is no foundation for their doing good. Any single individual without a belief in God should have no desire more than personal satisfaction.

Christianity is where Satan comes from so of course it is a branch of Christianity. I don't have belief in either Christ or Satan and I'm glad of it thank you very much.

Well, for the people to be guided and controlled, the founders and imposers of a religion, create the "good" and the "bad" ones. The ones who love and the opposite. THis way, after generations people are obeying from the fear of punishment.
In Christianity, "god" is good and "Satan" is bad!
There is no Satan, without god and no god without satay!
