I mean Christians are always badmouthing my ideas and ways of thinking. And they always have something ugly to say about every other religion. So why can't I badmouth theirs.
Because they are majority. That's like an Asian dude bad-mouthing Irish people at a Pub in Ireland. It's just not smart, and will cause you a lot of problems and stress.
Go right ahead. People always have something to say about what people believe. Next thing you know people will tell you not to eat pork and to pray 5 times a day.
Speak you ideas loud and proud. No matter what you do, you will always have critics. One you can do is get a list of contradictions in the bible or just use their own beliefs against them in which many of the beliefs they have will contradict their other beliefs. It worked for me in high school. Learn the bible well and use it against them.
That would be your problem. See God Doesnt need man. God made a way for man through his Son Jesus Christ. So either accept Him or do not accept Him simple as that.
It is not God's will that any man should perish but to have everlasting life through his Son Jesus Christ.
I am sorry that you have had bad experiences with Christians in your life. I am a Christian and I don't "badmouth" non-believers, and it embarrasses me that people who profess to represent Christ treat others that way.
You are more than welcome to speak badly of my views, but I hope that since I treat you with respect, you will do the same. I don't ever think that it is wise to generalize that since some Christians are hypocrites, that must mean that all are the same way. Granted, everyone is a hypocrite to a certain extent, but we need to be careful not to stereotype (I shouldn't stereotype non-believers and you probably shouldn't stereotype non-believers).
We also need to keep in mind that people are people, and none of us are perfect. The only person who ever was perfect died upon a cross almost 2000 years ago.
If you ever want to talk about your views or my views, let me know. I will be respectful, but in return, I hope that you will be the same way. It's okay to disagree, it is not okay to persecute those who don't believe what we don't.
friend,
I am sorry...I try to be kind to those who aren't Christian...honestly nothing is stopping you from bad-mouthing us but some will be offended and bad mouth you back and soon a volley of bad-mouthing will begin...so you can if you really feel you need to but I dint think it will solve anything.....It is your choice whether you believe Christianity or not
You won't be the first. It is our job to warn about the wrath of God to shortly come. Jesus said "count it for joy when you are persecuted for my name's sake". Go ahead and badmouth all you want. I'll count it for joy. But you will have to answer for it on judgment day.
Have you read the HOLY BIBLE ? YOU have a right to your own opinion,Do not Judge by the individual but look into the HOLY SCRIPTURES,Christians are not perfect only GOD is.God said you have a choice HEAVEN OR HELL, its our choice, dint wait till we die, that's it, you have confirm your choice.
Christians have something bad to say about every other religion? Don't they also have so meting GOOD to say about every other religion? If the barn has dung, do you fuss at the dung or do you search for the pony that produced the dung? Is a glass half empty or half full? You are a pessimist; learn to live with it. AND THIS IS NOT BADMOUTHING YOU.
Additionally, you have my permission to badmouth Christians to your heart's content as long as it relates to hypocrisy of Christians. After all, Jesus did exactly that when he spoke out against the religious leaders in His time.
I am a Christian and do try to live by what I believe.
Finally, I think you have confused two issues: Christianity and Christians. They are NOT the same.
Yeah, but when they do they get awful mad. They're all very sure that their path is the only right one, it's hard to tell them otherwise without them getting defensive. But I gotta tell you that all these threats of me going to hell are getting pretty tiresome ha ha.
PS. I don't advocate religious bashing necessarily, but I see what you mean by your question.
Jesus said, "I Am Lord"
There are 3 responses that you can have to his statement.
1. That he was a liar.
2. That he was a lunatic or crazy
3. That he is Lord.
It is your choice which one you want to believe.
true Christians are taught to love people, not badmouth anybody. we`re taught to speak against sin and tell people about Jesus! we`re taught to pray for our enemies and love our neighbors as ourselves. i don`t know you or anything about you so here`s an objective question for you. could it possibly be that what you call badmouthing is actually people speaking the truth that you just don`t want to hear?
if you are involved in some activity that the bible teaches against, a Christians speaking against it just might be the Lords way of speaking into your life! instead of getting offended maybe try opening your heart and sincerely seeking his will for your life! you might be surprised what he can tell you if you really listen!
That's your choice. Your ideas could really be bad. Shoot, I have mocked many Christians for being ignorant (not understanding what God expects etc)
To able to bad mouth something you have to know what your talking about first and not overgeneralize anything if you do then you can't badmouth because then it's just conjecture.
you are free to do that . but do you really want to stoop to their Laval? it wont stop them they will just become more arrogant. if it is any consolation know that, when they are among themselves, they speak almost in the same way about other sects of their own re legion. the problem is in the root of the belief "only truth". if they accept there may be a Little bit of truth elsewhere and god is not a partial father who differentiates its children they will not do it any more.
If you disagree with Christians, than YA is a good forum to use to work things out.
If you disagree with Christianity, then you need to be on your knees talking to the Author. Christians make mistakes, but in the broad spectrum of things all Christians agree that the only way to have a relationship with God is through His Son, Jesus, and that ultimately, that relationship is the only thing that matters!
